Organizers of this Saturday's River Street Festival are looking for some extra hands to keep things running smoothly. Elizabeth Young said in an e-mail that volunteers are needed for the following positions/times:

Registration/Set-up 6:30am - 9:00am

Children's Area 9:45am - 2:00pm

Children's Area 2:00am - 6:00pm

Beer Truck 10:30am - 2:00pm

ID checking 2:00pm - 6:00pm

Those interested in volunteering can contact Young at info@troybid.org. This year's River Street Festival features headliner Paula Cole and three stages of live music and entertainment along with vendors, food and children's activities. Everything kicks off around 10 a.m.
