Rogers is back

Former City Councilman Keith Rogers, who served as a District 6 representative for one term starting in 1999, announced today that he will be once again running for a seat on the council this November.

Rogers is currently a project manager for Crown Castle International, a national company which owns and operates cell phone towers, and resides in the city's East Side neighborhood with his wife, Jacqueline, and three boys, Justin, Daniel, and Jake.

"I love this city and we have a very special community in Troy but I am concerned about where we are headed," said Rogers. "The petty partisan bickering needs to stop as there is too much at stake."

City Democratic Chairman Frank LaPosta said that Keith knew what it is like to hold public office and understands the needs of the citizens of the city.

Additionally, LaPosta noted that he encouraged anyone interested in running on the Democratic picket for a position in the city of Troy - whether on the City Council or as a county legislator – to send a resume to P.O. Box 308, Troy, NY 12182.

You go Keith. He's right about the petty bickering and when Keith was on the council before he found the solution. Any bickering just take the council member causing the problem and head butt him like he did with then Councilman Wayne Foy.

Is Keith Rogers gonna lead the charge to bring the Guardian Angels to Troy? Oh, I forgot, the dummy Dems tried that already. Has anyone seen the Angels in Troy?

Looks like Laposta just ended his tenure as City Chair. Maybe he should check with the real Democrats before he names candidates.

Rogers looks like another Wayne Foy. Sandbagging the At-Large slate and letting Mirch cause trouble for the Dems. I dont think Rogers gets out of the gate come petition time.

Rabbit and Chuck are endorsing for city council, they believe Keith got screwed by Pattison and Morphy ten years ago when they forced him to change his vote on term limits. Remember Keith originally voted to keep term limits but they forced him to switch his vote.

Who is Chuck? And Rabbit lives outside the city so he holds no position within the party. Frank LaPosta is the worst thing to happen to the Democratic party since that investigation into old man McDonough.

Chuck and Rabbit are Clem Campana's advisors. And you will do what they suggest or Rabbit will stick your head in a sewer.

Everyone interested in running for office as a Dem this year will interview with Frank LaPosta, Rabbit and Jim Conroy and that's final.

Well I heard Frank LaPosta and Dan Ashey taught Mr Wade a lesson about who is in charge last night at the executive meeting last night. Anyone have any info.

How would Rogers vote on the funding to move city hall. Will he vote the way Frank tells him, Conroy tells him or Wade tells him. Or does he have a brain of his own? We'll probably never know.

I have never spoken to Tom Wade in my life, have not spoken to Jim Conroy in at least 7 years and Frank laposta three times in the last year. Wtih regards to how I would vote regarding the move of City Hall...go back and read my Letter to the Editor that was published in the Troy record a few months back. I am adamantly opposed to the move and told you it would cost $2 Million between the lease, build out and moving costs. I guess I know what I am talking about. Keith Rogers

Looks like Mr. Rogers is a computer troll. Lurking around blogs. He and Kenny Z will become fast friends. Two thin skinned, super sensitive computer geeks.

Frank Laposta sucks swamp water, as does Tom Wade, Dan Ashley, C B Smith and the other baloney heads with King Tut, Bob Mirch and Dan the doper, Crawley.
