Kids Night Out
In honor of the 25th Troy Night Out, which began in February of 2007, the event is being transformed tomorrow night into "Kids Night Out" with free, family-friendly activities throughout downtown.
Students from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Russell Sage will are expected to hide thousands of Easter eggs throughout downtown for a massive Easter egg hunt for the children. The eggs will contain both candy and gift certificates for various city businesses.
The event is being sponsored by the city of Troy and the Troy Downtown Collaborative.
Further information can be found on the Web at www.troynightout.org.

Troy Night Out is a wonderful event. Elizabeth and Karen have done an incredible job in nurturing the event to get it to where it is today. My hat goes off to both of these hard working, and dedicated business women.
Kudo's go out to the mayor also for his support of the event.
Dopes like that LoPorto benefit from the event, even as he continue's to run these people down at every opportunity.
Kudos to the Mayor? How does he support the event? By spending our tax dollars and taking the credit for it. You'd have to be an idiot not to support it.
What he should support is the BID, but nary a peep from him one way or the other.
Nice Comment Jeff B. Keep up the PR, maybe you will get your girly friend a job yet! We are still not supporting the BID. No new taxes you dope.
Drinkin the Wade Kool Aid are you?
No Dan, I am not!
